Your privacy matters. This policy explains which data I process when you visit this website or use the contact form, why I do so and which rights you have.

Which data do I process?
When you fill in the contact form:
- your name and email address
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- the services you are interested in and your message
- the language of the page where you filled in the form
Data when you visit
When you visit the website, the hosting provider keeps technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and time of visit. This website uses no analytics, no tracking and no advertising cookies.
Why and on what basis?
Your data is not sold and not used for advertising without your explicit consent.
- To answer your enquiry and possibly send you a proposal. This happens at your request, prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and working properly. This is a legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who is your data shared with?
I work with a limited number of service providers that only process data on my behalf:
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) receives and delivers messages from the contact form.
- Vercel, Inc. (United States) hosts the website and processes technical data such as your IP address.
Transfers outside the EEA
When data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, this is based on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long do I keep your data?
Messages from the contact form are kept for a maximum of 2 years after the last contact. If you become a client, I keep the necessary data for the duration of the collaboration and afterwards as long as the law requires, for example for accounting. Server logs are only kept briefly by the hosting provider.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also ask to restrict processing, object to processing or have your data transferred. Email info@mdgconsult.com to do so. You will receive a reply within one month.
Filing a complaint
If you are not happy with how I handle your data, please let me know first. You can always file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Security
The website runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to your data is limited to those who need it to handle your enquiry.
